Jim Himes, a U.S. Congressman representing Connecticut's 4th District since 2009, recently shared his thoughts on social media regarding various topics. Born in Lima, Peru, in 1966 and residing in Cos Cob, Himes graduated from Harvard University with a BA in 1988. He succeeded Chris Shays as a member of Congress.

I’m a techno-optimist but this 'consumer cornucopia' could create a real human crisis of meaning. Probably already is."
