In his tweet from April 1, 2025, Himes humorously critiqued the concept of averaging in a sports context. He wrote, "Average. Haha. If Stephen Curry and I played a game of one-on-one, and he scored 100 points and I scored zero, on 'average' we would each have scored 50 points."

On April 3, 2025, Himes questioned the implications of presidential powers in rearranging law firms. He tweeted, "So just so I’m clear, does every new president from now on get to rearrange major law firms going forward? Is that in the constitution? I have some thoughts for the next president."
