Road Closures due to Traffic Light Installation & Improvements on Route 111 | Town Of Trumbull

Construction on the traffic signal and sidewalk/path improvements along the Route 111 corridor north of Route 25 is slated to begin again on Monday, March 27, 2023. Work will be ongoing on both sides of Route 111. The schedule is dependent upon weather or other unforeseen conditions.

During this work, closures of one lane exiting the plaza (leaving one lane entering and exiting) as well as well as closing one lane in either direction on Route 111 through the intersection is likely. The closures will follow the Town and CTDOT standards for temporary traffic control and the contractor will be coordinating with the police for traffic control per the standards.

In addition to this signal work, the site contractor may be working on the trail on the east side of Route 111 south of the plaza, the work at the Woodland Hills Driveway to the north, and the sidewalks on the corners of the plaza driveway intersection in the coming weeks.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause as we bring additional safety measures to our community.
