On Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 7:30PM in the Trumbull Town Council Chambers, the Planning and Zoning Commission will continue to conduct a public hearing on an application for a text amendment to the Trumbull zoning regulations. The application, if approved, would revise Trumbull’s zoning regulations to allow for future mixed-use development in certain parts of Trumbull Center. This current application is not for a specific development project. If the text amendment is approved, subsequent applications, that seek to utilize the newly created zone for a development project, would have to be submitted and approved by the Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Commission, Police Commission, WPCA and Planning and Zoning.
The public hearing on this matter was opened at the August 17, 2022 meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission and remains open. Members of the public are invited to comment and may attend the meeting in-person or submit written comments in advance of the meeting via email to Linda Finger, Planning and Zoning Clerk at lfinger@trumbull-ct.gov. Please contact Rob Librandi, Town Land Use Planner at rlibrandi@trumbull-ct.gov or 203-452-5047 for additional information.
