Elderly & Disabled Homeowners Tax Relief Programs Update - State and Town of Trumbull

ELDERLY/ DISABLED HOMEOWNERS TOWN TAX RELIEF DEADLINE: OCTOBER 17TH, 2022 

I  have extended the deadline to October 17, 2022 to apply for Elderly and  Disabled Homeowners Tax Relief from the Town of Trumbull. This extension applies to those who have never applied, or needed to reapply but missed the May 15th deadline.  The Town will accept late applications without reason. Relief is based on total income.  Applicants’ total income cannot exceed $70,000. ELDERLY/ DISABLED HOMEOWNERS STATE TAX RELIEF EXTENSION TO FILE DEADLINE: AUGUST 15, 2022. 

If  you have a medical condition or filed a tax return extension with the  IRS, you may apply for an extension to file for senior tax relief from  the State. You must file this application BY MONDAY AUGUST 15TH.
