Which ex-high school standouts featured in Bridgeport Metro will compete on Friday, May 8?

Sixteen Sacred Heart University rowers have been named CRCA Scholar-Athletes for their achievements in academics and athletics during the 2025-26 year. The group includes both women’s and lightweight team members recognized for maintaining high GPAs while competing at a collegiate level.

Sacred Heart University’s football team held its 26th Annual Gridiron Golf Tournament at Great River Golf Club in Milford on June 1. The sold-out event gathered supporters from across the community with sponsorship from alumni and local businesses.

Fairfield University’s women’s soccer team has released its upcoming schedule for the fall season featuring challenging non-conference opponents before entering Metro Conference play. Head Coach David Barrett says motivation is high following last year’s results.
