On Thursday, Feb. 13, former Trumbull High School standout Cassi Barbato’s current college team, the Radford Highlanders, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the East Carolina Pirates.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1:05 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against UMBC Retrievers.
