On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Shelton High School standout Jafar Vohra’s current college team, the New Haven Chargers, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wilmington Wildcats.

The game took place at Cal Ripken Experience. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. at Cal Ripken Experience against Felician Golden Falcons.
