Thank you Harry Boardsen for sharing the story of Bridgeport Boatworks with the BRBC’s Economic Development Committee yesterday, a world-class yacht shipyard right here in Bridgeport, specializing in private and commercial yacht maintenance, repair, storage, and more. Bridgeport Boatworks is gearing up to become an operations and maintenance facility for the offshore wind industry and recently debuted a 700-MT Travelift, plus hosts the headquarters for North Sails, the world’s largest sailmaker.

The next Economic Development Committee meeting is March 8 and open to any BRBC Member in-good-standing to attend. We are looking forward to planning a tour of Bridgeport Boatworks as well.
