Sacred Heart women’s rowing finishes 16th at Head of the Charles Regatta

The Sacred Heart University women’s rowing team competed at the 2024 Head of the Charles Regatta on Oct. 19, finishing 16th out of 50 boats in the women’s club fours category.

The event took place in Boston, Massachusetts, where Sacred Heart entered one boat in the competition. The team completed the course with a time of 19:11.

This performance followed a strong race by the Pioneers the previous week, showing consistency and competitiveness as they faced a large field in Boston.

The Head of the Charles Regatta is known for attracting top collegiate and club teams from across the country, making Sacred Heart’s placement notable among a crowded field.

Looking ahead, Sacred Heart will compete again next Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia.
