The Sacred Heart University women’s bowling team ended its 2024-25 season with a 4-2 loss to Stephen F. Austin at the 2025 Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) in Las Vegas. The match took place Friday morning at the South Point Bowling Plaza.

In round three of match play, Sacred Heart, which had qualified fourth, faced fifth-seeded Stephen F. Austin in an elimination round. Stephen F. Austin entered the tournament ranked ninth in the March NTCA Poll.

Sacred Heart started strong by winning the first game 181-174. After Stephen F. Austin evened the score in game two, Sacred Heart regained the lead with a 203-179 win in game three. However, Stephen F. Austin secured victories in the next three games to win the Baker match and eliminate Sacred Heart from the tournament.

The Pioneers finished their season ranked No. 12 in the final NTCA Poll and have now qualified for two consecutive ITCs. The team also sent bowlers to each of the last two Intercollegiate Singles Championships (ISC), with Madilyn Yockel and Karleigh LeMond qualifying this year. LeMond advanced to the final eight after winning two matches earlier in the week.
