On Friday, Feb. 21, former Trumbull High School standout Scott Gell’s current college team, the Stony Brook Seawolves, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
The game took place at Swanson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Coast Eagles this season.
The Seawolves’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Swanson Stadium against Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
