On Sunday, March 2, former Trumbull High School standout Mackenzie Bruggeman’s current college team, the SNHU Penmen, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.
The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.
The Penmen’s next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 9 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against St. Cloud State Huskies.
